I am a lifelong Democrat, Alabama native, long-time DC resident, volunteer, and health policy advocate.

This year's elections will be one of the most important of our time, especially for vulnerable and marginalized people. I believe the Democratic Party needs more African-American women and health advocates, like me, to help win in November. Inspired by the contributions of Democratic leaders past and present, and innovative grassroots initiatives, I decided to create a campaign titled, "I Vote Democratic" and to run for DNC delegate.
